The Doors
The Daytona Coupe Doors are manufactured using a 30 Series Gelcoat
& 6 full ounces of non-chinese, non-chopped matting, this combination,
coupled with ISO Tooling Resins and a hand-laid, pre-wetting, open-molding
construction method, make these parts the strongest in the industry. The Inner
& Outer Door skins are then trimmed & jig-assembled using an incredibly
strong bonding adhesive designed for the jet-ski industry to assembling the
hulls together, designed for extreme strength and wear deemed manditory for
this application as well. Metal Plates are, as well, factory installed into
these units for bolt-on capability mating the doors to the hinging mechanism.
Each Door then gets a "bear claw" latch, factory installed & purchased from
a top quality manufacturer, to be received by body mounted posts that are
structured to the chassis design integration, from the same manufacturer,
located on the door jamb of the main body section to insure that the
appropriate operation & alignment is achieved. Optional "Side-Impact Steel Plates" are available for
